How does it work?
The SABRE Multi Sensor has a variety of different sensors that analyze the movement of your instrument and the air pressure of your breath while playing. It connects to your Mac or PC via Bluetooth and sends the input data to whatever you want to use it for. In addition to the sensors, it also has two built-in buttons to trigger scenes and effects if you’re not performing with the SABRE remote.
List of sensors built into the SABRE Multi Sensor:
2 buttons: binary value (on/off)
air pressure: relative value of air pressure from -1 (sucking into the instrument) to +1 (blowing)
temperature: relative value of temperature between -40°C and +40°C
Accel (x/y/z): 3 absolute values of acceleration between -1 and +1
Gyro (x/y/z): 3 absolute values of rotation between -1 and +1
Heading/pitch: 2 relative anglevalues of heading/yaw from -180° to +180° and pitch from 0° to +180° similar to a computer joystick
AHRS: 3 relative anglevalues of heading/yaw, pitch and roll between -180° and +180°
Systime: 3 relative time values (in ms) to measure run-time, time in between data packets measured at the central and at the peripheral
Battery: to display battery capacity in %
Link: quality of connection on a scale from 0 to 10
The SABRE Multi Sensor is powered with two standard AAA batteries and can be easily attached with the rubber straps to any kind of clarinet or saxophone.
